you know what this means?

The fact that it's been a while since my last post could either mean a. I've been really busy so I have lots of exciting stories to share or b. I haven't done anything terribly exciting or blog post worthy.
So obviously the fact that I'm writing now could also mean either of those options. You pick.
Oh so you picked a. Wellll I haven't actually been that busy, but I have done some stuff so it's not a horrible loss. I have A LOT of free time, it's been getting a little uncomfortable lately. I feel like I'm missing something because I don't have loads to do for my classes. So while my friends are off in class all day and I don't have classes till the afternoon/evening every day except Wednesday [when I have no class] or Thursday [when I actually have class earlyish], I can sometimes get a little antsy. I went out wandering yesterday and found Greyfriar's Kirkyard where Greyfriar's Bobby is buried and there are several graves that gave J.K. Rowling name inspiration somewhere in there too. I couldn't find them, and it was just a little creepy walking around a graveyard alone even if it was still light out. I also found the school that gave J.K. Rowling the idea for Hogwarts. I plan on going back because it was really awesome looking but I felt awkward taking a picture since the school just got out and there were a lot of people walking around. This morning I went for a run, the first since I've been here! I searched running routes in Edinburgh to try to find one around Arthur's Seat since that's like superrr close to where my dorm is. So I found a route and planned on running it, but ended up taking the wrong road. So I ran to this little town called Duddington, I think. It was still nice even though it wasn't the way I originally intended going. I'm hoping to try again tomorrow to take the right road so I can go all the way around Arthur's Seat. I imagine that'll be a pretty run. It wasn't really sunny this morning so I missed a pretty sunrise; maybe tomorrow will be better. This is also my way of keeping myself accountable because someone will ask [or y'all should!] how my run went and I'll feel bad saying I slept in. That's why I sleep in running clothes too, so I have no excuses when my alarm goes off in the morning because all I have to do is put on shoes and put my hair in a ponytail. Haha.
Ok, I better get to bed so I don't have to drag myself out of bed. That'll probably happen anyways. I went to bed pretty early last night and I still snoozed my alarm. Sigh. I just love sleeping. =) Also, there was more I was meaning to write about, but I ended up skyping with a good friend for an hour so that's why I'm stopping this till tomorrow. Good night!

  1. Way to go running! I don't even get up that early to work out and I still don't like it. :) We almost went to Scotland this year. We were debating whether or not to do all of the British Isles, or just Ireland. Just Ireland won. :) But I love reading your posts and plan on being prepared when we do go to Scotland someday. But no haggis for me... ;) Love you!
